Prior to joining Highmark, Alexander was senior vice president, human resources and services, for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York City. In a career that has spanned more than 35 years, Alexander has served in human resources and operational executive positions with CIGNA Healthcare, DuPont, Sara Lee, Pitney Bowes and Corning. Arthur J. Boni (Art) holds the John R. Thorne Chair of Entrepreneurship and Associate Teaching Professor Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University. He has decades of experience in funding and managing successful start-ups in the biomedical industry. He has extensive management, fund raising, investment, and technology development and commercialization experience in life science that includes biotechnology, biomedical, pharmaceutical, and high-technology and industrial markets. Fisher has more than 10 years experience founding, running or coaching and fundraising for early stage technology companies, and more than 10 years in design engineering, marketing and general management in a Fortune 500 technology company. In the arena of small company management, Fisher worked in the capacities of COO for North America CNIguard, LLC, President and CEO of MicroSensor Systems, Inc., Founder and CEO of Analytix, and President of RedZone Robotics. His early stage company roles included Founder and Principal of Equity Catalysts, LLC, Consultant for the Technology Collaborative (Venture Executive), and Consultant for Innovation Works (Executive in Residence). Hensler is Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Railroad Development Corporation, responsible for obtaining debt and equity financing for both domestic and international transactions. Mr. Hensler is also Chief Financial Officer of The Hawthorne Group, a private investment and management company which invests through affiliates primarily in media and communication companies. The Hawthorne Group, through its affiliates, has had interests in cable, real estate, soft drink bottling and investments in venture capital and professionally managed portfolios. His responsibilities include finance, tax, administration and investment management. Jones Center for Entrepreneurship, Managing Director of the Open Field Entrepreneurs Fund, and Associate Teaching Professor at CMU'sTepper School of Business. He is also Director of the i6 Agile Innovation System, a joint venture between Carnegie Mellon University and Innovation Works. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon, Dave was co-founder, Chairman and CEO of mSpoke, an internet content and advertising recommendation engine, which was acquired in 2010 by LinkedIn, the world’s leading professional social networking site. Before mSpoke, Dave was General Partner of PNC Technology Investors. Earlier in his career, he co-founded three successful startup ventures, including Premier Health Exchange (acquired by Medibuy), Hawk Medical (acquired by McKesson), and Industry.Net (merged with AT&T Business Network to form Nets, Inc.).
